Established in May 2024 in Salahalli, Ramdurg Taluk, Belagavi District, our NGO is committed to empowering women and youth through skill development. We operate across the taluks of Saundatti, Ramdurg, and Gokak, focusing on vocational training, especially tailoring for women. We facilitate bank linkages and livelihood opportunities, including sales initiatives with HLL company. With a strong network of over 1,000 Self-Help Groups (SHGs), we aim to promote financial independence and sustainable development. Our mission is to uplift communities by creating pathways to self-reliance and economic growth.
An integrated approach to build a equitable and empowered society
OUR VISION
We foresee a self-reliant and empowered rural society in Belagavi, where women and youth lead dignified lives through skill development, financial inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods.
OUR MISSION
To strengthen rural communities across Saundatti, Ramdurg, and Gokak by promoting skill-based training, forming and nurturing SHGs, enabling bank linkages, and creating income-generating opportunities for lasting change.
We work on women empowerment by equipping rural women with skills that enable them to become self-reliant and financially independent. Through tailoring training, financial literacy, and SHG formation, we support women in building sustainable livelihoods. Our efforts across Saundatti, Ramdurg, and Gokak Taluks help women access bank linkages, government schemes, and income-generating opportunities. We also work on enhancing their confidence and leadership through regular group meetings and awareness sessions. Women empowerment is at the heart of our mission to uplift rural communities.
Our main work focuses on utilizing locally available goat hair to produce wool, which is then crafted into blankets and other woolen products. This traditional skill not only preserves local heritage but also creates sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural artisans. Through training and value addition, we help improve product quality and marketability. Women and youth are actively involved in this eco-friendly enterprise. This initiative supports income generation while promoting self-reliance and resource efficiency.
It is the small change that makes the biggest impact.
